Transmon Engineering Ltd.
Helping Transmon Engineering build search visibility in a specialist market.
The Client
Transmon Engineering has been the leading UK manufacturer of forklift and materials handling safety solutions for over 30 years. They design, develop and install solutions that protect warehouse workers and improve operational safety across some of the largest logistics and manufacturing facilities around the world. Their products are proudly made in Britain and trusted by OEMs, distributors, and end-users worldwide. Speed control, impact detection, you name it, they build it.

The Challenge
Transmon builds products that save lives. But in a niche B2B market, the businesses who need these solutions were not finding them. Plenty of people already know the name and they've rightly earned a lot of clout in their industry.
However, their previous marketing spend had not been working for them. Transmon had invested in paid social, and while it drove plenty of traffic, almost none of it converted. After speaking with the team and going through some of their reports, we understood the problem. The spend was reaching people, just not the right people. Not the people who actually needed the life-saving products Transmon builds.
What they were missing was search visibility - making sure the right decision-makers could find Transmon when they were actively looking for safety solutions. It meant targeting this niche by exactly what they were searching for.
The opportunity was easy to see. In a niche market, you don't need millions of visitors. You need the right ones.
- Operating in a highly technical, niche market where search volumes are lower but every lead is high-value
- Product pages were not structured or optimised to capture the specific search terms buyers use
- No content strategy to build authority around the broader safety topics their customers are researching
- Technical issues across the site including sitemap problems, duplicate content, and image performance
- No visibility into how the site was converting - tracking and analytics were not properly configured
- The broad product range wasn't being shown off - the site needed to work harder to surface everything Transmon offers
What We Did
Transmon had already monitored and noted strong search potential in the USA. It was our job to help them capitalise on this. We built a campaign around making Transmon the most visible and authoritative voice in forklift and materials handling safety online. Every activity was designed to capture high-value search traffic in a specialist market. In a niche market, precision matters more than volume, and every page was built or optimised with that in mind.
Product page optimisation
- Rewrote and restructured product pages across the full range - speed control, collision avoidance, camera systems, proximity warning, fleet management, and more
- Found new ways to market the same products to entirely new audiences - the same safety technology applies beyond forklifts, and this represents a different search opportunity
- Developed a programmatic SEO approach to scale page creation across vehicle types and use cases
Improving the existing site structure
- Reviewed and restructured how Transmon's products were organised and presented across the site, making the full range easier for both search engines and buyers to navigate
- Improved internal linking between related products so visitors exploring one solution naturally discover others that complement it
- Made every existing page work harder - better content, better targeting, better conversion pathways - before building anything new
Content strategy and blog creation
- Developed a comprehensive content strategy targeting the safety topics Transmon's customers are actively searching for
- Created detailed blog content strategies covering forklift speed, warehouse safety, warning light guides, and industry-specific applications like ports and recycling plants
- Wrote detailed SEO and technical content briefs for a specialist copywriter to write against, with search intent, structure, keyword targets and internal linking all mapped out
- Every article was built to drive traffic around key themes and link back to Transmon's commercial product pages
Technical SEO
- Ran regular SEO audits to identify and prioritise technical issues across the site
- Fixed sitemap problems, removed duplicate and low-value content, optimised H1 tags, and cleaned up internal redirects
- Set up proper conversion tracking and analytics so performance could be measured accurately for the first time
- Conducted a full backlink analysis, disavowed toxic links, and cleaned up the site's link profile
- Improved Core Web Vitals and overall site performance - from image optimisation to load speed - so the site was faster for buyers and stronger in search
